If your Sebo X1 is losing suction, it's probably for one of 4 reasons. Those reasons are

  1. Bag
  2. Filters
  3. Blockages
  4. Rips

Safety First! Please make sure your appliance is switched off before beginning any maintenance work.

Now, the first thing you need to do is check the bag. It sounds obvious but if it is full, or has any damage or rips on it, then just replace it.

Next thing you need to do is check the filters. This is the micro-filter. If it's caked with dust or looks damaged in any way, it's easily replaceable. This other filter down here is the exhaust filter, and the same applies, if it's really filthy or damaged, replace.

Next thing you need to do is look for blockages. Start at the brush roll area, if there is anything in there which is blocking it then just remove, or if it's really shot, the brush roll, you can just replace it. There is also this little access flap in here, that you can use to check for any blockages in there. Also, just check your extension tube and hose for any blockages as well.

The last thing is rips. Check the hose, there you go, look that is damaged, so that needs replacing, you can see me do that in another video, and also, just make sure that the extension tube is sitting snuggly inside the vacuum like that.

If you are still suffering a loss of suction after that, the chances are it's a problem with the motor, but this can be replaced as well. You can see me fit most of these spare parts in other videos.

Thanks for watching.
