How do you remove the unit from the fridge?

I have a side/by/side fridge freezer but the fridge part is not chilling. I think the thermostat is not working as the freezer is working well. The problem is how to remove the thermostat unit

    If you look at the images of the part you may notice plastic'barbs' or 'tabs' that lock the assembly in place. It suggests the whole assembly slides in from the front towards the back of the cabinet until these 'barbs' engage. to remove it you need to prise from the back underneath with a blade like a paint scraper and try to disconnect the locking tabs.
