Hi, I hope you can help.

I have an LG RC8003 Condensing Dryer. As soon as the door lock engages there is a noise which stops as soon as the door opens again. The machine works perfectly and the noise continues throughout its operation. It only stops when the door is opened. If pressed I would say that the sound is coming from the pump. Have you any ideas. Thank you.

If this noise is occurring when the machine is 'in standby' and not tumbling and is coming from the pump then this may be a faulty control board as this machine does not appear to have a float switch to control the pump.
