I have a 37760 tumble dryer which has stopped working When you turn the timer knob there is no ticking sound I assume it requires a new timer. Is it diffiult to fit?

It is a motorised timer so does not tick. See our diagnosis videos in our Advice centre to help identify your problem and check the thermal cut outs on the heater.
