My Bosch tumble dryer does not heat up as hot as it used to do, clothes only partially dry and little water in the condenser tray. Tried re-setting the red thermostat cut off button. Is the temperature limiter faulty?

Model WTL 6103Gb/05, F No. 8401 200076. Checked the cut out thermostat for closed circuit - ok. checked the temp limiter for closed ciruit - it's open. Is the limiter the problem? Can it be replaced or have to replace the whole heating element?

We believe that the limiter is normally closed until the temperature exceeds the setting of the cut-out, for more help see our video www.youtube.com/watch?v=trJXdqNBn7M just copy and paste into your browser.
