Why does my Karcher K3.550 pulse approx every second when energized and water available. There is also a water leak from inside the casing

This is a common occurring fault with Karchers. When not spraying the pump pressure builds up and shuts of a switch stopping. If this pressure reduces either because you start spraying again or if the water leaks from the cylinder the motor starts again. Trace your leak and it should resolve your problem.
