OUR SMEG D1612CA GRADUALLY FILLS WITH WATER IN BOTTOM AFTER USE, would this be the spray arm seal

The dishwasher is about 7 years old, and has been excellent--the filling of water has been a relatively recent problem, which has got worse--it is always clear water, and takes about 4 days to fill now. Am sure the waste system is OK, has a proper waste trap side connection, about 2 feet above floor level under sink.

Hi, if its fresh water filling its its likely that you will need to replace your valve. However, if its drain water filing the dishwasher its likely the impeller has worn down no longer makes a good enough seal to act as a check valve.
