Have purchased a new pump but can't work how the clutch comes off, I have also purchase the tool suggested.

Hi Sandy Sorry, I haven't actually replaced the pump kit on our Mac 335. I removed the clutch cover in this video where I fitted a replacement chainsaw chain, but not the clutch itself. I have found this user manual for a Mac 335 on another site. Hopfully that will be of some use.
