The drum on your machine is not repairable as it is welded together and cannot be parted and re sealed after bearing replacement. It is likely to be cheaper to have a fixed price repair with Repaircare than replace the drum unit Stock Number: ES1247848

The reason why in this case it can be cheaper to go to Repaircare than ordering and doing yourself is because they do a fixed price repair service where they charge the same for a minor problem as they would for this major repair. - I have got the same problem with my hotpoint WMDU962 PUK ultima. Is it the same wm than the WMD962 as mentioned ? Can I replace the drum unit stock Number: ES1128371 ? Why would it be cheaper with Repaircare if the drum is welded together and so not repairable ? Thanks

This product is a sealed tub which comes with the drum and the bearings included.
Hi, can you tell me the bearing size that's fitted to this item please? I'm aware it's a sealed unit and they can't be replaced separately. Thanks in advance. 1 Answer
