This model has a fully pressed bottom guarding motor replacement. U-tube guides say to cut "tabs" to gain access, then tape back....Not happy with this as it may come unstuck & be a safety issue. Any ideas? Thanks

See the video attached and use one of the 'less essential outer cabinet screws' to fix the plate back in position.

The motor has many gears and will be difficult to turn, the usual cause of the problems you refer to is dirt and debris on the rollers, ring and under the turntable and the base of the cavity.
