Can this part cause my machine to be excessively noisy? Ive checked everything out and all other parts seem fine just this one seems slightly suspect. 1 Answer

If the pulley is loose it can cause excessive noise, check the bolt that holds the pulley on but also make sure the bearings are not causing the noise.
Is there an easy technique to changing this without turning the drum?

The bolt that holds the pulley on is an M10x25 screw that would require a socket set and the correct tool to remove it which you should be able to get locally.
Are there any special instructions to fit this pulley to ensure that it is clamped tight by the bolt. The original one was loose even though the bolt and washer were tight. Thanks. 1 Answer

The pulley should be a tight fit against the drum shaft, ensure there is no movement before tightening.
