The fan blade is usually held on by friction as the hub is contracted by the spring around it.

This is suitable and should simply clip in place.
FAN WAS REPLACED 2 TO 3 YEARS AGO DUE TO UPDATE. FAN NOW NOISEY AGAIN THEN FREEZING UP. WORKS FOR 3 TO 4 MONTH ONCE DEFROSTED BUT NOISE BACK AGAIN. DO I REPLACE FAN UNIT OR SOMETHING ELSE. 0 Answers
ORIGINAL FAN UNIT MADE SAME NOISE THEN FROZE, THE ENGINEER FROM SAMSUNG CAME OUT AND PUT AN UPDATED UNIT IN, I DEFROSTED FRIDGE FAN UNIT 4MONTHS AGO BECAUSE OF SAME PROBLEM BUT DONT KNOWIF I NEED NEW UNIT AS THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH FRIDGE/FREEZER OR A NEW/DIFFERENT MAKE.
