Which pins should I test and what readings should I expect? I'm in the UK. Model is sms58e22gb/85 Pump is part no. #9000946122

    If you suspect the pump has failed then use a multimeter to test the pump, you are expecting a resistance reading through each test but if no reading it would indicate an open circuit pump.

    If your multimeter is reading open circuit it confirms that the pump assembly has failed and would need to be replaced.

Hi my dishwasher is showing fault code E09 which I believe is the heating element fault, will this part resolve the issue? Look forward to your reply, regards Paul

    E09 does indicate the machine has detected a problem with the heater, use a multimeter to test the heat pump which will determine if it has failed, also check the temperature sensor.
