Dishwasher Motor/Pump with Half Load Solenoid
If you've noticed the dishes are still dirty after a wash, then you may have a problem with the circulation pump in your dishwasher. The function of the recirculation pump is to send the water gathered at the bottom of the appliance, back through the spray arms to then complete the wash cycle.

my hotpoint fdw60g crashes near the end of cycle with lights 4 and 6 flashing could that be the motor / pump i was told by an engineer but im not too sure still 1 Answer
i want to fit a new motor/ pump to my hotpoint fdw60g dishwasher is it difficult and do i turn the dishwasher upside down and go in from the bottom 1 Answer
- Unplug the electricity supply Tilt the dishwasher to gain access underneath Take the bottom tray off 4 screws remove 3 rubber hoses from the motor disconnect electrical connections. Motor is attached by one clip at the top pull free. Fit new motor and re connect all.Takes around twenty minutes start to finish
