Fridge Thermostat
A fridge thermostat maintains the desired temperature by switching the cooling device on and off. If you’ve noticed the food in your fridge freezer is getting frozen or spoilt too early, then you might have a faulty thermostat. Maintain your fridge at the correct temperature with this replacement from eSpares and preserve your food for when you need it the most.

Bosch Fridge KTl15420GB/01 I got the thermostat from you. I have removed the temperature dial and the nut around the spindle and the retaining screw under a cap but the casing is still attached to the side of the fridge about two-thirds of the way along towards the light bulb and I just cannot figure out how to remove it or what is holding it there. I don't suppose one of you guys knows do they please?

Once the screw is removed the housing should move, often the housing needs to be carefully pulled towards the front and it will release from the liner.
I have removed the dial and lock nut. There are no screws. Siemens fridge KU15RA40GB/03

On the front of the housing there may be a decorative 'strip' that can be taken off. check if there is a hidden screw that releases the thermostat housing. Once removed the housing should simply slide forward or backwards to unhook from the liner.
I have a Siemens KI24RA40GB/0i integrated fridge in my kitchen but it is struggling to get to the right temperature when I turn it to a lower temperature. If I push the super button it will go down to 4c at the back of the fridge but it goes up when the super switches off, so I was wondering if I could replace the thermostat or is there something else causing this such as a sensor or something else that isn't working. I would appreciate it if you could e mail me back if you may be able to help me with this problem.Kind regards Pete.

The fact that the fridge only goes down to 4C when on super (normally bypassing the thermostat) suggests the problem is either due to low gas or a worn compressor (both would require a refrigeration systems engineer to resolve).
