This element is supplied with the sensor as shown in the images.
When the cycle gets to 5 mins and has spun it will reset back to 15 mins and do all over unless we stop it

This may be because there is excess suds or a problem with the turbidity sensor depending on model. Try empty then check the load balance as per: How to Prevent a Washing Machines Spinning Noisily : http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/2401/
My washing machine does not heat up, but checking the heater it has resistance - about 28ohms, which is correct for the power. I can't check the thermostat. Is this likely to be the problem? The picture shows that the replacement heater comes with a new thermostat. Will this fix the problem?
