- Firstly disconnect the electricity supply - safety first! Remove the top of the tumble dryer. This can be done by removing the two screws at the back of the machine that hold the "lid" in place. When this is removed you'll see the outside pf the the drum of the machine. manually turn this round until you see the 3 screws that hold each dryer paddle in place. Swap the paddles over.. and job done
