I have an old rangemaster 110 double oven and griddle hot plate type.. the main oven only works after some time trying ? any idea . thanks ian . 1 Answer

You will need to test the element as that is the most likely part to stop the oven from heating.
Have noticed the wires to the thermal cut out are blackened and if I put both ovens and the grill on the fuse to the plug blows . Could these be related ? 1 Answer

The wires being black is an indication it has got extra hot at that point and would need to be replaced if it is damaged, the fuse blowing would normally be one of the elements causing it and they would need to be tested to determine which one has failed.
On the grill on my Elan ceramic 7517 both elements warm up and glow red but then trip the house fuse. What is the problem? Mick 1 Answer

You will have to test the heating circuit with a meter to determine what component is going down to earth and causing the fuse to trip.
Our Rangemaster Classic 90, small oven dos not get to selected temperature, is it a problem with the element, thermostat or thermal cut out please? 1 Answer

If the thermostat cycles and the light goes out then check the element with a multimeter.
the is getting hot but the fan keeps cutting in and out, i have already replaced the fan but the problem persist's. the fan should run constantly. any idea what will be causing the fan to keep stopping and starting.
