but where there should be three screws holding it in place there is only one and what appears to be two welded in pins. Can anyone give me some advise on how I can get this out without spending a fortune on it

    The pins you are looking at are the heads of bolts that go through to the back of the machine where small nuts hold the element in place. To remove these nuts you will need a socket set similar to Stock Number: ES1584151.

    Check if the indicator light next to the control is lit. if this remains lit it suggests a faulty element, You may see signs of damage on the element. You can confirm this by using a meter and measuring the element.

  • Yes there are two screws on the rear of the oven, You just unscrew the rear panel, disconnect the two connectors and unscrew the element. REMEMBER TO TURN OVEN OFF AT MAINS SWITCH. By COOKIE 1050 - Birmingham - 28 December 2013
