Washing Machine Door Interlock Stock Number: ES670687
Genuine spare part for select Candy, Hoover, Otsein, and Zerowatt washing machines
I bought Hoover Washing Machine Door Interlock for HPB145-80 from espares & followed the video, but after fitting, the washer door won’t close. It doesn’t click into place, whereas it did before. I’ve gone wrong somewhere, any ideas please? 1 Answer

Check the position of the door lock, make sure the door does not need adjusting as the catch needs to go straight into the lock otherwise it does not connect.
How do you remove the door interlock on a hoover dxoc 68c3/1 80? New part looks like ES670687 1 Answer
No click when pressing start, door does not stay closed but very faint click after time delay after switching off so am assuming it is the door interlock.

The door lock is held in place by 2 pips that have to be released by pushing them with a screwdriver.

We believe it is likely to be the door lock.
Hi I ave a candy godf800 washing machine with error 01 coming up. Is it the door interlock that is the problem? If so will any of the ones on your site be compatible with it to replace? Thanks in advance.

If the door opens and closes correctly replacing the lock may resolve the E01 problem. The part is listed as Stock Number ES670687
ok,but on the HPE236 there are no retaining screws and no obvious method of removal of the door interlock 1 Answer
Thanks for your original answer

Remove the door seal from the front and press the 'pips' that push through the front panel either side of he lock hole and slide the lock hole frame away from the door. It should then hinge/lift away. To fit the new lock hook the hole frame into the front panel and hinge/slide it into position until the 'pips' lock it in place.

This repair should be similar to one in our video: How to replace the door lock on a Beko washing machine http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/2310/how-to-replace-the-door-lock-on-a-beko-washing-machine-
I have just replaced hinge on door on my mums candy sprite 1300 CNA 135 but the door catch is now faulty. Do I need this part in addition to the door handle assembly part? 1 Answer

If you have broken the handle by trying to open it before it unlocked then you may just need the handle. For information to identify the problem see our video: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/1793/how-to-diagnose-washing-machine-control-and-program-problems
For a start it has no screw holes, also it seems to be magnetically operated (the old one was a pin pushed by the door catch also there seems to be nothing to hold the door shut. Yet it says it is the right bit!
- There are no screws. From what I understand from having a play about with the old one I just replaced, Its a electro magnet that pulls a pin down once the door is in the shut possition inside the lock, so the door is unable to be opened, after the washer is turned of the power is cut and the magnet releases and door is able to be opend.

Hi Big Al, this interlock is indeed held in place with two screws.
Will this part fit my appliance?
