I have a samsung sr2028css American fridge freezer, the fridge side is fine but the freezer side wont go below 12 degrees.
I can hear the motor running. There is no build-up of Ice . The ice in the dispenser had melted away now but the motor and switches function ok. I have the freezer set to -21 but it is at 12 currently and rising. Its quite an old unit but I like it so I would like to repair What is the most likely fault? Thanks

It sounds like a problem with the refrigeration system, this can be difficult to diagnose without the correct equipment to determine if the compressor is pumping to get cold.
