One paddle is now missing. Until i get my new one posted can i use my washing machine as normal 2 Answers
- I would order at least a couple of paddles to save you waiting in future. I also have a IWB6123UK and I had to replace one paddle due to damage but I orderd two. Iv lhad all three paddles come out several time since new. Iv got now that I spend time looking at the machine or listening for the paddles going around the drum, but otherwise it does a good wash.
- only if you're prepared to have your clothes sliced up, all the edges of the location of the old paddle are razor sharp I'd wait if i was you.
I replaced a drum paddle that the pegs had broken, after fitting a new one on the second wash the new paddle pegs broke what is causing this problem? It was fitted correctly as shown in your video 1 Answer

You need to check for something inside the tub which could be hitting the pegs causing them to break.
Hoover drum paddle Its secured with 2 screws with the head between drum and outer drum. I can get to rear screw through the outlet hose and see the front one. I have looked all round the drum and there is no other access. How do i get to the front screw? 1 Answer

There is usually access through the sump hose in the bottom or the hose under the dispenser so try both.
Which way around do the paddles go into the machine.? There are 2 lugs on one end and 4 on the other, which goes nearest the door please 1 Answer

Lie the paddle next to the holes on the drum to confirm they match the pattern on the drum before trying to fit it.
I have a Hotpoint WMFUG 842p as I need to check under bottom of drum for bra wire.

Paddles should generally by a tight fit to the drum and should not be able to be lifted at one side so if loose remove and check if replacements are needed.
I am on my third set in 6 weeks, costing a fortune! Why do they keep breaking? Is it possible to glue them in place?

It is not possible to glue them, make sure they clip in place and do not come loose if pulled. Check the machine drains from full to empty in under 50 seconds. if not check for a blockage. Also ensure there is enough washing in to prevent clothes floating in the drum and being hit by the paddles as this will damage them.

Here is a link to one of our videos on how to fit a Drum Paddle: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/1270/
All 3 paddles fell off in the same wash. It was very noisey and when I checked the paddles have fell off and the metal clips have also fell off! This apparently is not covered in the 1 year warranty. So if I get these will they actually clip on securely without the clips?

If the metal 'tab'on the drum that holds the paddle in place is not locking the paddle will come off. Speak to a local washing machine engineer as he may be able to fit a stainless self tapping screw to hold them in place. If not it is a new drum if the clips do not hold the paddles.
Will this part fit my appliance?
